Issues with Ad Blockers & Privacy Extensions

Updated 1 year ago by Dan Golder

Because we integrate extensively with Facebook's API and suite of plugins and tools for their Messenger Platform, Chrome Extensions that are designed in part to prevent websites like Facebook from running code in your browser may lead to rendering issues in our own application.

Test this Bot plugin

If you notice that your Test this Bot plugin button is broken at the top of your screen, it may be the result of a conflicting Ad Blocker or other Chrome Extension:

If you see this, try disabling the plugin and reloading your Browser window.

Known Chrome extensions which block Facebook:

  • DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials
  • uBlock Origin
  • uBlock Plus Ad Blocker

If you experience this issue with any other browser extensions, please let us know using the "Contact" button at the top of this screen, or by emailing

How did we do?
